In August releases happen almost every day. A magical bonus experience — your son gets to hold and release a hatchling at sunset on the beach.

Sindu Dwarawati Turtle Conservation

A small, community-run conservation spot right on Sindhu Beach, Sanur — about 2km from Sindu Beach, an easy walk or short taxi from your villa. Started in 2012 by local youth who found turtles nesting nearby, it cares for green, hawksbill and olive ridley turtles, and hatchling releases are open to visitors, often free with donations welcome. It's a low-key, low-cost bonus stop rather than the main event — some visitors describe it as a moving experience seeing the hatchlings up close, though it's worth knowing reviews are mixed, with a few raising concerns about tank conditions, so it's best treated as a quick, optional visit rather than a highlight booking.
